Sometimes growth looks like being trusted.<\/p>\n

This week, as part of a planned staff retreat, the older children at The Ark Trust (Napastaa Children’s Home)<\/a> stepped into small leadership roles within the home. Not because they had to, but because they are ready to learn.<\/p>\n

They helped keep routines going, supported the younger ones, and worked together to make sure everything ran smoothly.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t perfect. But that\u2019s not the point.<\/p>\n

The point is this: they are learning what it means to be responsible for others. To think beyond themselves. To show up.<\/p>\n

In a space that many call a \u201cchildren\u2019s home,\u201d moments like these quietly remind us\u2014it is also a place where young people are being prepared for life.<\/p>\n
