Faces Behind The Ark Trust: Peter Mureithi<\/p>\n
At The Ark Trust (Napastaa Children’s Home)<\/a>, every role has a story to tell on growth, purpose, and impact.<\/p>\n Meet Peter Mureithi, or as we fondly call him Baba Blessing.<\/p>\n Peter joined The Ark Trust in 2010 as a security guard. Over the years, Peter has grown with the organization. He has worked as a caretaker and is now a pool instructor and a gardener in our event gardens. Peter is a perfect example of what can be built on over time.<\/p>\n Today, Peter plays a key role in generating income for the institution through swimming lessons, while also equipping children with a life skill. What he enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to give back; to contribute, in his own way, to the growth and success of the children at The Ark Trust (Napastaa Children’s Home)<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to be part of their journey,\u201d he says. \u201cTo see them grow and succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n His journey has not been without challenges. He remembers one moment when someone almost drowned. Peter has a big dream for the future.
