Children are naturally resilient. They adapt quickly to their environment and often learn to cope with discomfort without saying much. While resilience is admirable, we believe some things should never become normal for a child.
At The Ark Trust, we are working toward installing solar water heaters at the children’s home to provide reliable access to warm water every morning before school.
This initiative is about more than convenience. It is about dignity, comfort, health, and creating an environment where children feel cared for in both the big and small ways.
Solar water heating will also provide a sustainable long-term solution by reducing electricity costs while ensuring the children consistently have warm water throughout colder seasons.
