FACES BEHIND THE ARK TRUST: MEET PHILJOHN LUSWETI
Some people work quietly, but their role is very important.
PhilJohn Lusweti is one of the new faces behind The Ark Trust (Napastaa Children’s Home).
PhilJohn joined us on 1st February this year as our watchman.
Even though he hasn’t been here long, he is already part of the team.
When we asked what he loves most about working here, he said it’s the peaceful environment.
He enjoys the calm and quiet that surrounds the home.
He also shared something very important to him; being paid on time, between the 1st and 2nd of every month. It helps him plan his life well.
PhilJohn says the place is secure, and so far, he hasn’t had any conflicts with anyone.
He enjoys working with both the children and the staff.
One thing you will quickly notice about him is that he is very funny. He kept making jokes during the interview and made everyone laugh.
His hope is simple and powerful:
To see the children grow, succeed, and achieve their dreams.
